The Hidden Side of Online Coaching

The Hidden Side of Online Coaching (and Why Most Athletes Never Make It Online)

When people look at KONONOV Club today, they see the results —
20,000+ programs sold, 5,000+ community members,
35+ challenges and programs, and the “wow, he really figured it out.”

What they don’t see is where it actually started — in 2020, in a tiny apartment, when the world suddenly stopped. All shows canceled. All operations frozen.
No Cirque du Soleil.
No stage.
No lights.
Just silence.
And a simple question:
“Can I share my experience from home… and survive?”

That moment pushed me into online coaching. Not as a business plan — as a necessity.
I didn’t know anything about funnels, ads, pixels, or landing pages.
I only knew gymnastics.
I knew how to help people move, feel strong, feel free.
The rest I had to learn from zero.

From the Stage to the Screen: What Actually Transfers

People assume a performer magically becomes a great coach or business owner.
Wrong.

The only thing that transferred from Cirque du Soleil to online business was this:
Stand up when you fail. Celebrate when you win. Repeat.

Gymnastics teaches you that.
Shows teach you that.
Life teaches you that.

But running a digital business? That’s another level.

On stage you have 5 seconds to capture attention.
Online you have 1 second.

If your content is boring — nobody cares.
If your offer is unclear — nobody buys.
If you don’t catch attention — you don’t exist.

The Biggest Mistake Coaches Make Online

They obsess over one thing: the product.

“What videos do I film?”
“How do I edit?”
“Should I add captions?”
“Should I talk on camera?”
“What exercises do I include?”
“I need to touch my client, online won’t work…”

This is all 20% of the business.

The real 80%?

Marketing and sales.
Finding your first customer.
Understanding conversions, landing pages, demand.
Learning how the online world works.

Most coaches never touch these skills.
They think they'll hire “a marketing guy,” and that will magically fix everything.
It won’t.

If you don’t understand the basics yourself, you will burn money, get zero results, and hear the same lie:
“Results will come next month.”

That’s why I do almost everything myself.
Not because I want to — because I couldn’t find people who deliver real results.
Most marketers today are great at selling themselves… but not at selling your product.

Two Ways to Build a Digital Product Business

After selling 20,000 programs, here is the truth:
There are only two real strategies.

1. The Market-Driven Strategy

Research the market.
Find what people already buy.
Create your version.
Scale with ads.

It works — but it’s not my path.

2. The Craftsman Strategy

This is my way.

You have a craft you love — gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, photography, singing, anything.
You export your knowledge.
You pack it.
You put it online.
You advertise.
You keep learning.
You update, update, update.
You build a small library.
One day, one of them becomes a bestseller.

People enter through the popular one.
Then they discover your deeper work — the unpopular but powerful programs.

This is not a race for millions.
It’s a search for balance — a life where you can do what you love, help people, and earn good money without destroying your soul.

Why Most Athletes Never Succeed Online

Because they try to build a business with an athlete mindset:

“I will train harder.”
“I will perfect the technique.”
“I will build the best program.”

But online business doesn't reward perfection.
It rewards clarity, speed, simplicity, consistency.

If you spend all your energy learning, analyzing, collecting knowledge… but never release anything — you become toxic to yourself.
Knowledge without output becomes poison.

The cycle must be:
Learn → Create → Publish → Sell → Improve → Repeat.
That cycle built KONONOV Club.

The Most Important Lesson After 20,000 Sales

You never know which product will take off.

My first programs were handstand programs.
They sold okay — not crazy, not bad.

So I thought:
“If 1 program sells 100 times,
2 programs will sell 200,
3 will sell 300…”

Wrong.

I created many programs nobody wanted.
It hurt.
It confused me.
It forced me to understand marketing deeper.

And then one day — BOOM — a simple challenge became a bestseller.
Not because it was my most complex idea,
but because the market wanted it.

The ultimate truth:
The market decides — not your brain.

Why This Matters for Every Coach Today

Because today is the best moment in history to build an online career.

If you love gymnastics…
Or birds…
Or cooking…
Or breathing exercises…

Somewhere on this planet, there are 100,000 people who love the same thing.

You just need one skill:
How to share it with the world.

That’s what I want to teach.
Not theory.
Not MBA formulas.
Not corporate nonsense.

Real experience.
Real mistakes.
Real wins.
Real strategy from a craftsman who survived, adapted, and built something from zero.

My Mission Going Forward

I want to help:
🟧 Athletes transitioning after sport.
🟧 Coaches from low-salary countries share their knowledge globally.
🟧 Performers build online income from their craft.

You don’t need a producer.
You don’t need an agency.
You don’t need a big team.

You need fundamentals.
You need clarity.
You need output.
You need to understand how marketing, sales, product, and operations work together.

And you need someone who speaks your language — the language of craft, discipline, and passion.

Final Thought

Everything you learned in life means nothing if it stays inside your head.
The world needs your craft.
Your story.
Your experience.

Export it. Pack it. Advertise it. Improve it. Repeat.

This is how you build a digital career today.
This is how you build freedom.
This is how you build a brand.
This is how KONONOV Club was born.
